SIMPLE BEEF CASSEROLE

 Beef Cas

A Casserole pot that is oven proof or cooks on the gas or electric stove.

It could be Stoneware Glass or a Saucepan 

Incredients

Oil or Lard or Butter even a Knob

Onions- Red White or Spring x 2 

Beef  - Worst to Best 500gms ( marianaded in red wine if required)

Plain flour or Cornflour - Enough

Stock - Beef or Veg Cubes 250mls

Beer 350mls

Carrots x 2

Swede x Portion

Parsnip x 2

Peas - cupful

Herbs - Mixed ?

Spices - Worcester Sauce/ Mustard ?

Salt & Pepper -To Taste

What to do next 

Sweat the chopped onions in the fat

Cube the Trimmed Beef cover in flour and brown in pan adding a little stock

Herbs Spice and Salt & Pepper

Remaining stock

add desired Vegetables

add beer

Cook as slowly as you can for as long as is needed 

Test and serve with Mashed Potatoes
